All therapists who work with One Therapy must be members of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) or the College of Sex and Relationship Therapists (COSRT). We are unable to consider therapists who are not registered members of at least one of these organisation.
Though our therapists are trained in a number of counselling approaches, all therapists who join us should be trained, primarily, in one of the following schools of thought: integrative psychotherapy, person-centred counselling, psychodynamic psychotherapy, psychoanalytic psychotherapy, existential psychotherapy, or couples counselling and/or psychosexual therapy.
In addition to any primary approach listed above, some of our therapists have additional training in other styles of therapy like systemic therapy, EMDR, DIT, CBT, Mindfulness and others.
We provide in-house group supervision and, through this, our therapists collaborate as part of a team. Therefore, it is important that therapists who join us are able to work both independently as well as part of an established, integrated, dynamic team.
Successful applicants will become part of a unique team of therapists, working with a diverse group of clients. Our employment contract outlines our professional standards, the therapists’ role, remuneration and benefits. Get in touch if one of our current roles might be suitable for you.
If you feel you have the right qualification and experience, please email your CV to: Kate Crawford, Head of Therapy Services at info@cloud9forlife.com We will respond within 3 days.
